The Suwannee Forest, which is owned and operated by Superior Pine Products, is comprised of natural hydric spodosols which are soils that are best suited for blueberry production.   In 2003, Superior Berries Company was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Superior Pine Products.  Superior Berries is managed by Mike Bruorton, Director of Agricultural Operations, with the support and direction of President Andy Stone and its board of directors.
